The counselors of FFC have known one another and have been helping others for more than thirty years.
Andrea T. Robinette, who has been sought out her whole life because of her obvious gifting to understand the hurts of others, completed her Master of Arts Degree in Human Services Counseling Crisis Response and Trauma at Liberty University. In addition, she has a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Her father was a well-known teacher and counselor given the responsibility to lead the Preserving Christian Marriage division of the worldwide denomination where he served his entire life. He counseled pastors, missionaries, their children, and countless members of local churches for many years.
Mrs. Robinette took an interest in his work and has always felt the call to carry on her father’s work helping others whenever there were opportunities.
As a pastor's wife, she has worked with a great deal of substance abuse among those in their community, offered pre-marital and marital counseling, helped with difficult child issues and much more.
The Robinettes have eight children, all of whom are members of their church, two of which were adopted.
Homeschooling for the past twenty-five years and speaking and teaching at conferences in the US and abroad honed gives the Robinettes special insights they often share with others.
Having a large family, as well as experience in foster care and adoption, has also given them unique experiences that often aid in a wide variety of family counseling issues.
Pastor Mark A. Robinette relies on his more than three decades of experience in pastoral ministry and his extensive knowledge, understanding and application of the scriptures in counseling settings.
In addition to being a pastor for most of his life, he is an award-winning journalist, author, conference speaker and heads of a mission organization serving Myanmar and Honduras.
Both of the Robinettes are members of the American Associates of Christian Counselors and are constantly working to hone their skills at helping others with continuing education through extensive reading and AACC classes.
