Areas of Experience in Helping
Preparatory and Strengthening
· Premarital: Dozens of happy marriages have followed the six-week couples counseling sessions preparing young people for marriage. The feedback from these couples has been very encouraging through the years.
· Marital: Ongoing help with communication and conflict resolution for couples and constant teaching on how best to love one another and build a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the church.
· Intensive Men’s retreats: Pastor Robinette has participated in several week-long discipleship and training experiences at local churches across the country.
· Homeschooling Helps: Helping parents develop and implement a home educational system that fits the needs and gifts of many families. This included helping many with unique learning disabilities who did not thrive in traditional education approaches.
Abuse
Physical: Women abusing men as well as men on women abuse in marriage.
Sexual: Children with recent abuse or adults facing events from their past.
Spiritual: Have dealt with a variety of issues from members within a church toward one another or their leaders as well as leaders who have harmed church members.
Leaving A Cult: We have helped those who have come to see their associations of faith were, in actuality, a cult, and the pain, trauma other challenges that comes with leaving a whole community and building a new healthy Christian life.
Marital:
From deeply troubled couples to those who just want to learn to love one another, the Robinettes and Mr. Nickerson have been called upon countless times throughout their many years of ministry.
Grief Counselling: All three of our counselors have extensive experience in this field. Mrs. Robinette, who lost two brothers, one 19 and the other 21, within a nine-month period, has found the wisdom she has gained through her own experience has been invaluable in helping others. Her speciality in trauma and crisis has helped with the shock of sudden and unexpected loss of loved ones.
Addiction
The ravages of sexual and substance abuse on both men and women and their families has been a constant part of their work since 2000.
